Fans ask Harada will Tekken 8 include Rollback and Crossplay.
As you can see in these recent tweets, Harada confirmed that rollback netcode will be implemented in Tekken 8, along with crossplay functionality and a beta test.
This is a big deal. Rollback netcode and the addition of crossplay will allow players from different platforms to compete against each other.
But I think people forgot it was announced that ARIKA would be handling the networking aspect of the games for the Tekken team so they could focus on the game.
That and we ARE getting a netcode update to TEKKEN 7 to get a taste of how it will be in 8.
The beta test will also give us a chance to get an early look at the game and provide valuable feedback to the developers. I am thrilled about the future and can’t wait to see what the Tekken team has in store for us.
